Our Squeaky Chew Ball, Squeaky Chew Stick, Dual Layer Bone and Dual Layer Ring are made from extra-durable rubber. Our Dri-Tech Rope and Dri-Tech Rope Knot are made from moisture-wicking shaped fibers. All toys are tested thoroughly to be dog-safe!

The scent in a Playology toy is a derivative of the protein itself, so there are no chemicals used to create our scents.

All of our scents are 100% natural and made in the United States. Our rubber is from Singapore, which is the highest quality rubber we are able to find. All of our toys are assembled in China using factories that are thoroughly tested for social compliance by an internationally recognized independent auditing firm. We also have employees in these factories on a regular basis checking on them. We are truly a multicultural operation that starts and finishes right here in the states. Oh, beautiful!

No toy is totally indestructible, but toys marked Extra Durable can withstand a more aggressive chewer, even the heavyweights. Of these, the Dual Layer Ring and the Squeaky Chew Ball are especially durable. So go forth and play ruff. They will reach the final bell.

We recommend toy sizes (small, medium and large) by your pup’s weight. But don’t ask them directly, that’s not polite. Trick them into stepping on a scale. Please visit our product pages to see the weight recommendations for each toy.

Yes! All of our toys are safe and recommended for any aged dog, from the teeniest pups to older dogs that have been around the block once or twice. Studies also show it’s hard to pry the teenage dogs from their phones. Always on ChewTube.

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has administered testing on the raw scent material used in our toys and has shown that there are not sufficient ingredients present to elicit an oral allergenic reaction. You can rest assured that our toys would not pose a danger to your pup or other family members!

Well this section isn’t for statements, only questions. Just kidding, a few points here. First of all, clearly all dogs don’t like all toys. And some dogs (the incredibly un-fun ones) don’t like any of them. But if your dog likes a certain type of toy there is a high likelihood that they will love Playology. When you first get your toy, if your dog doesn’t show a lot of interest, try roughing up the toy (bend it, twist it, etc.) as this will break some of the microcapsules and release more scent. It’s sort of like how the trendy kids these days prefer their jeans come already weathered a bit. Our toys are crafted to promote this instinctive thrill of stalking and capturing prey. With features like
dangling feathers, crinkly textures, and lifelike features, our toys engage your cat's predatory
instincts, keeping them engaged and mentally stimulated.

Most of our toys are made out of high-quality rubber or polyester, plus some have feathers for
activating your cat’s instincts. We do have a few special outliers, though- our wobbler, butterfly, and
wind-up lizard have plastic components, our spider teaser is latex, our crab is part-foam, and our
inchworm teaser is plush! But most importantly, all are thoroughly tested and safe for your feline
friends.

Some of our cat toys are catnip-infused. Catnip has been found to improve the quality of life for adult
cats by providing environmental enrichment, especially if you have an indoor cat who prefers the
couch over the backyard!

CAUTION: FOR PET USE ONLY NOT A CHILD’S TOY. Choose toys based on pet size and playing
habits. Toys should be large enough not to be swallowed. No toy is indestructible. Always supervise
your pet during play to prevent accidental swallowing of parts. Small parts present a choking or
gastrointestinal blockage risk. Inspect regularly and replace if any part becomes damaged or loose.
If the toy becomes wet, some color transfer may occur.

Every cat is unique, and every cat likes to play differently! We have toys designed for pouncing,
kicking, teasing, and chasing, plus toys made specifically for kittens. We recommend purchasing
based on your cat’s playing habits. If this is your cat’s first toy, trial-and-error will be your best friend.
You can always just pick the one that’s your favorite color- we won’t tell.
